Me too! My boyfriend calls me that all of the time despite the fact that we established good pet names that are a parody of our actual names when we were best friends -_-

I like babe and baby, but I hate other pet-names. But, that's my personalize preference and I certainly do not penalize anyone for using names such as "sweetiepie" as it doesn't affect me whatsoever. If they're happy, they're happy and that's all that matters.

Same here, Idk why some couples constantly refer to eachother with cutesy names. It's like they do it to validate that they are in a relationship but I would want a secure enough relationship without having to call eachother babe and baby.

I only like the name for three instances. Babe Ruth is one of them. Babe (It was a book and a film.) is next. The last one is Sonny and Cher's,"I Got You Babe".
