One of my biggest pet peeves is when a bunch of girls go to the bathroom just to gossip. Like hello?! There's other girls who need the washroom for its purpose; which is to do business, wash hands, and get the eff out of there. Yes, we other girls don't need to hear about your nail breaking. We have our own issues. I've dealt with this in high school and never liked it. Don't say it's to cover the "embarrassing sounds". How immature! We go for wee wees and poo poos all the time. There's nothing embarrassing about something we do naturally, grow up! I wonder if I'm the only gal who hates bringing a bunch of girls to the bathroom just to chat?

      If you didn't detect the mocking tone in the original post when she (sorry for assuming gender) said "wee wees" and "poo poos", I think you may have missed the point.

      If I was female, I too would be pissed at this (pun intended).

      Lol, not true. But I was having a debate over this myself.

      I was advocating that it's gay to go to the bathroom with a guy at the same time because you take out the dicks in the same place. However, it is gay not to go because you feel intimidated and that's gay too and for pussies.

      I call this the bathroom gay paradox.

    I hate going to the bathroom with people, because all they want to do is talk. Cmon, Im trying to go to the only place I can to have some privacy, leave me alone bish.

    honestly i hate public restrooms. they are disgusting. but in high school i liked to go there to be away from people, but now i go there to use the bathroom every once in a while. it is always weird to see people in there that i know- especially at my work place. i feel like the bathrooms are cleaned fifty times a day or more, but i never feel sanitary in the bathroom. some girl in high school once wanted me to leave the bathroom, because she needed to take a huge- nevermind. i wondered why she was being so hateful then i figured it out.

    That's how girls are. They go to the bathroom and gossip.Us guys get together over video games, or working on my classic car. We drink and we discuss everything girl-related. And anything related, depending on amount of booze...

    So it seems normal.

    another time some girl was hateful, but someone said they go beat them up. they did not want me in the bathroom. i was in there to be away from people that wanted to be out in the hallways. i decided not to leave the bathroom until i heard the warning bell about three seconds later. too bad for her. she was stuck in there without hearing it. everyone else left. she was setting there wondering why i smiled and had no idea what to do. the bathroom was always mine, but i never used it. i did lie and say i got sick once. somehow when i only told a couple people in the lunchroom everyone thought i had diarrhea. i really said that i was going to tell the nurse that i puked to avoid public speaking. i did not even do that. it was another day and time where i actually lied. good story, but on another day. need sleep. night shift- not too long from now.

      My guess would be because it's a private area, girls use the sanctuary of the loo to go and chat about girly stuff.

      What man is going to wander in on a conversation in a ladies' toilet? Unless he wants to be arrested for sexual harassment and have a really embarrassing lawsuit against him, he'd keep his reputation intact...

    It's pretty normal for girls to go "powder their nose" to compare notes on their dates. If you are just going there to use the loo just don't let it bother you.
