Stinky mice are not nice and cute. They live in moist dens and it's pretty cringe once they may chew the bland wood of chairs. There are probably more, but I saw this on Valentine's day
I don't mind those words. A dislike for the word 'nice' was inculcated into me by teachers, though. It's a bland word that you tend to use just to be polite - a 'social fuction', rather than a word.
I can't stand the word 'panties' or 'baggy' (as in, a little bag). There's absolutely no need to make them sound cutesy and child-friendly like 'kitties' and 'puppies and 'doggies' and 'daddies' and 'kiddies'. 'Baggies' tend to be single-use plastic things destined to pollute the environment, and things that go into 'baggies' are often anything but cute. They don't deserve to be a separately-defined thing, and especially not something that sounds like it's for children. And I mean, it's bad enough that you call underwear 'pants' but adding a feminine diminutive is overkill. The task of covering my genitals is serious business.
I do not like green eggs and ham.
I do not like them in a house.
I do not like them with a mouse.
I do not like them here or there.
I do not like them anywhere.
I do not like them Sam-I-am.
Yummy. It's immature. There is a thesaurus of beautiful words to describe delicious food.
Tummy. It's a stomach.
Scrummy. See the first word.
I don't really have it towards words as much as specific noises or ways of talking.
Though, I will say that I find it extremely annoying when people tell me (or others) to "chill" in the most condescending tone, probably because I got that treatment a lot as a kid when I had a valid reason to be upset and no one felt like hearing me out. Hearing "CHILL!!!1!!1!" when I was in the middle of SSRI-induced panic attacks in my teens was the least helpful and most enraging thing ever, too. Or being told to "chill" when someone did something clearly unacceptable and I was understandably pissed about it. Let's see how "chill" these people are when the tables are turned on them. 🙄
I can't stand the word 'snogging'. It's like a time portal back to my red-faced teenage years.
