I have not fixed my garage door opener, is that normal?

Is it normal that I refuse to fix my garage door opener? I could fix it anytime but I think the extra exercise is good for me.

Why do you procrastinate about fixing it. Do you do this with other repairs and jobs that need doing. My husband is like this, he is so lazy and will sit in front of the tv or playstation for days on end. He is never bothered that something needs repair or attention. I consider him to be one of the laziest people I know. Could this be your problem also.

I was sure you'd've given in and fixed it by now!

I lived in a house with an old, extra wide wooden garage door. There was no fancy opener and the pulley system had be long broken. I felt like Hercules whenever I opened it. But that one time I got pinched in one of the hingey bits. Ow! And that other time it slammed down on my toes. Oww!
