I have "triggers"

Whenever someone says certain words- that have been "programmed" into me by friends- I do a certain action that corresponds with the word. For example, my friend might say the word "blue" and then punch me in the stomach and do it 10 times in a row. Then, for weeks, whenever someone says the word "blue" I'll cringe. Sometimes, I won't even know that something'll become a trigger- for example, I'll laugh when someone calls someone stupid- now whenever says "you're stupid" to me I laugh. IIN?

Why would you let your friend punch you in the stomach till you were afraid of the term blue? This is how you train dogs you know. You give them an award when they perform a certain command. So every-time you give that command they associate it with an award. However its been applied negatively to you to make you fearful of the actions. Possibly a means of controlling you but clearly you enjoy being miserable since you don't ever stop them.

This is completely normal. It's called classical conditioning, for more on this term use google. But basically, your friends suck.
