I haven't changed my bed sheets in over 6 months

I know this is kind of disgusting but I was just wondering how bad you guys think it is.

Full disclosure, I'm both very lazy and it's sort of got to a stage where I'm proud of how stinky my bed sheets are. I try and make my friends sniff them when they come over lol. They really do smell pretty bad, I don't really know how to describe it other than that it's really pungent and has a smell of old sweat within it mixed with loads of other odours, and it's so strong that when I fart at night if my heads under the covers I don't even smell it because the smell from the bed sheets is that strong. I haven't got any bed bugs or anything like that and I do brush the crumbs off it every other day so it's comfortable to sleep in, how disgusting is this?

This is slightly bad 7
This is abysmally disgusting 30
This is okay 7
This is fine 12
This is bad 20

Do you know anyone with a good microscope? It might be amusing to take a scrapping of your crusty sheets and have a look at what's going on there. I bet you're supporting an entire ecosystem of microscopic creepy-crawlies.

Yeah, you can't see them but they are there. Dust mites. I saw a show on TV once where they showed them magnified. I am sure if you saw it you'd be washing the sheets daily! And then there is the chance of bed bugs. You DON'T want them!!

That isn't healthy, please go wash your sheets. You don't have to get crazy about it, but it won't kill you to throw them in with the wash. Especially if you've had things like crumbs every other day, just take care of yourself. All that bad smell is loads of bacteria building up from a lack of changing. Stuff you sleep on. Even forgetting how it smells, you'll probably just feel better too when it's cleaned. Consider cleaning the mattress beneath at this point too, it's probably soaked through.

I wouldn't be able to leave a sheet on my bed for more than one week. I like the feeling of fresh clean sheets against my skin.

      I did a few weeks ago :)

  • Wow you should probably change the bedsheets now...6 months of sweat, drool and farts is probably not too hygienic

I honestly can’t remember the last time I changed mine. I have panic attacks with the slightest change, and when I change even my pillow case I have panic attacks and night terrors nightly for about a week

      Do you wash your clothes?

After I wear them several times, unless they are visibly dirty or smell, then I wash them. It may seem gross, or unhygienic, but I haven’t been sick since I was a young child and my dr contributes it to my immunity.

I could be wrong, but I think they're attracted to blood so it doesn't really matter how clean/dirty you are, you're just as susceptible to bed bugs, just like head lice.

bed bugs & dust mites eat dead skin, and unwashed sheets is covered in dead skin

i always sleep the best on clean sheets , had a room mate (female ) she could either sleep in her room or mine, we seldom had sex but it was always amazing when we did. she would go in for an shower before bed. well i had studied some tricks . Id change my sheets while she was soaping up. then when she came out id say clean sheets are on. she would always climb into my bed , she slept total naked so did i at least got to park my cock in her ass crack and fall to sleep , better than nothing.

Are they like crusty by this point or like very loose feeling from the sweat and body fluids??

They're not crusty, they're just really really stinky, I've been in them so long I don't really know how they compare to other bedsheets, but my guess would be they feel about the same once you brush the crumbs off.

I bet you haven't been laid in your bed for a l-o-n-g time unless your partner was chroniked, like wasted, comatose.
