I havent showered for a week and my armpits smell good?

Ran out of deodorant 2 weeks ago. So last week during my shower I patted down my armpits with baking soda.

I haven't showered for a week (dont ask why. Experimenting), during that time I have been outside, sweated tons. I'm a dude. It's 35 C outside

But I just bought deodorant, was about to go put some and I smelled my pits expecting a rancid smell and they smell great? What the hell?

Some people have a very pleasant natural body odor. And a bit of manly musk is definitely better than many deodorants or other chemicals. I don't really mind at all if someone smells sweaty or musky, but some deodorants just give me a headache.

I stink good. My body odor isn't offensive unless I am sick. And i have asked.

Neither. I eat a well balanced diet with very little processed foods.

You should hop in the shower, before you start to smell like a bag of Fritos. Gross. XC

It is nasty. When I worked in Central Peabody, no one seemed to bathe. Frito people exist. XD

usually you have a nice bodysmell if you eat good and fresh food.
Most people eat shit and therefore smell like shit. So of corse most people will say that its "not normal"

If you live in a warm or cold environment is also a factor!

Not everyone has body odour problems. Our hygiene-crazed society makes us think that the natural state of a human being is nasty, stinky, and dirty, but with most people that's not the case. And some people go WAY longer than a week without showering.

Some people start getting smelly armpits around the time they hit puberty, with others, it can come much later. My friend only started getting a lot of body hair and body odour when he was 25 years old.

I'm like you, I don't have a B/O problem. Which is great. We save a lot of money not buying Axe or Old Spice. I'd rather smell like nothing, heck, I'd even rather smell "like a man" than smell like a synthesized chemical all the time.

As one very wise man/bastard once said... "everyone loves the smell of their own brand"

I used Baking Soda deodorant for about a year and it worked wonders. About a year in my armpits started get raw and red and my armpits burned. Baking soda is actually very harsh for your armpits. It does keep Bacteria from growing though. For a more natural deodorant the only one that worked for me is herban cowboy. I get the unscented one to keep away from any chemical scents.

Deodorant can often make armpit odor worse

Antiperspirant can make armpit odor worse. Scientifically proven.
And that deodorant + unwashed armpit smells bad is an obvious thing, one might suppose.
