Ever scence i was 9, I would always hold my breath when i was at or near a graveyard. I know this is a dumb thing to say but i'm scared something bad will happen. Be sierous. Am i normal?
You stay like that because it became your habit.
Try to stop that habit.
I do it. It's a habit that I've had for the longest time. Not worth breaking, I just see it as a cute quirk, and others may see it as odd. Doesn't bother me. :)
I still follow that superstition too. I used to have a phobia of zombies and I thought if they got my breath they could reanimate themselves.
This is all my cousin's fault. One Christmas Eve, we were driving past a graveyard and everyone in the car except me and the adults held their breath. She told me that if I didn't hold my breath the spirits would take it away and then rise up out of the ground, hands first, and pull down Santa Claus with their decayed hands. That scared the shit out of me.
When i was a kid... I used to think that if i breathed the same are as a special ED kid, i would sort of turn into one.
So everytime i walked down the special ED hallway, i would hold my breath.

even know those kids are the way they are can't help how they are and neither can i how i am just be glad you wasn't in those classes to have to put up with the kids all year and each and every year you was in school this is why i quit going to school.
In Mauritius the hindus put the bodies of their dead on logs and burn them. You surely would hold your breath if you pass nearby while they're doing it.
I hold my breath passing roadkill in the summer. I don't want to breathe in the rancid decay stench. Have you ever got that smell in your mouth?? Its so gross!!
