I hold the noble rules and oaths of christianity
This oath, too complicated for a Puritan to mention is about taking care of a saint or the body of a saint.
And the noble rules, to name some, are: thou shalt believe all the Church teaches, and shalt observe all its directions.
Thou shalt defend the Church.
Thou shalt be generous, and shalt give largesse to everyone.
And, my favourite, thou shalt perform scrupulously thy feudal duties, if they be not contrary to the laws of God.
These noble thoughts put me on a pedestal, as you can see I added them to puritanical doctrine.
And it's a question of upholding the Church, be it true or false, we defend it precisely because no one else has repented their material comforts.
