Every night I have depressing nightmares (not scary, just depressing). Then I wake up way too early and still feel horrible. I lay in bed for hours not wanting to get up. I want cancer or some other fatal disease.

    You must be very depressed to want to have cancer or some other fatal disease. Are you doing anything about your depression? Therapy/medication/meditation/exercise?

    cancer won't fix you. only an anti-depressant can do that.
