I keep having dreams of a man sneaking into my house?

I've never had dreams like this before but the past week I have had a recurring theme of some weird man sneaking into my house at night. He's not there to rob me and he doesn't break in, he SNEAKS in carefully and I catch him watching me or my kids sleep just standing there. One night at around 2:30 I woke up after this dream and went outside to smoke and found my door was unlocked! I practically shit my pants. I lock my door every night so I don't know how it got unlocked.

Is this a warning? Has the creepy man been here already? Are the dreams really memories and I only think they're dreams?

How can I catch the man? I have pets so I need a safe solution!

    Fucking forget about Jesus, get some cops or something for protection. Call your boyfriend if you have one, or husband.. since you got kids. Also, keep the lights on for 2 weeks, in those 2 weeks brings your kids to your room and let them sleep there.

    Holy crap. Sounds crazy. How the hell though would he be able to get in if you lock your doors?
