I keep losing a lot of fights?

Well last year, I got into many physical fights caused by arguments. I admit I let them get the first shot due to not expecting it, but I put all my strength in punching them only for them to quickly take me out in just seconds. I rarely ever been in a fight, and it sucks when I'm the aggressor for getting too angry. I tried kicking one time only to have it grabbed and get messed up. Oof, never again. Or I'd end up slipping and falling from trying to move around too much and I end up letting them get a good chance on me. Another time is where 90% of it was just us blocking and the second we started wailing, I went down within 3 seconds and couldn't move at all while he proceeded to pummel and kick my butt :/

What's going on? why do I have little to no power in my attacks yet I get taken down with ease? it's very embarrassing and it really sucks when I'm outnumbered. What do I need to do to not end up angry with bruises?

Who are you fighting with then, on such regular basis? It's not very common for adults?!

Getting a punching bag will help.

If you are going down a lot it sounds like you have issues with your balance. Youtube clips of Mike Tyson and look at the way he stands. He's always very balanced, knees bent, head down. Getting a punching bag should help with this alot. You wanna hang a 100lb one. Dont go for anything under 100lbs it will swing too much. If you get a standing one fill it with sand and expect it to move alot.

One thing I use to do when I was younger and got in a lot of fights is I always made sure when thr fight went to the ground I was quicker getting up than my opponent. Alot of times both of you go to the ground at the same time and there is a pause when you hit the ground where you're brain goes "wtf". Put it in your head that as soon as you touch the ground spring up like a crack head. Alot of times you can get the jump on him and kick his face or sit on his torsoe and throw down punches. A lot of people pause for a second when they hit the ground

Oh one more thing if they ever get the mount on you (I mean where they sit on your torso and reign down punches) flop around like a fish to buck him off. It doesnt matter how gay it looks. If you accept that position you're gonna get so smashed

it may not be a lack of power. it may be a lack of coordination of movements.

Learn a high level grappling martial art like wrestling, jodo, ju-jitsu, sambo or CACC. Trained or untrained (especially untrained) almost nobody knows how to fight on the ground or how to properly get out of submission holds.
