i didn’t tell my boyfriend about something i did prior to our relationship. i told him i never got money from a sugar daddy when i did. i really didn’t consider it a SD thing because it was only one time and all we did was talk on the phone. he also has lied about not being a sugar daddy, to which i found out about and j also know a lot of more instances where he’s lied to me (that he doesn’t know about) a lot about his past and things i probably should know. i just don’t know why he’s making me feel bad when he’s done the same? he’s a pretty big liar

    You are looking at this wrong. The fact that he is a liar doesn't make it okay for you to lie. Rather, the fact that you are a liar means you can forget about his lying. You are no better than he is, so don't waste time thinking about his mistakes and poor behavior.

    How to approach this in actual conversation: "I have a confession to make. I lied to you about some shit. I'm not going to go into the details, but this is so you know, whatever you lied to me about is forgiven and we are even. Now let's not lie to each other from now on."

    And then don't ask questions about each other's past ever again, because neither of you is comfortable discussing it, or even admitting that you aren't comfortable discussing it.
