I like math but im no good at it

I just took a precalc class in college and it was my favorite class but i was also taking 2 sciences that i enjoy, i didn't like those classes but i had to stay focused to not get a bad grade. i focused too much on those in the last days, and ended up failing my calculus exam, got a D in the class so now i have to retake it if i want to continue math. I understood the concepts i just couldn't memorize all the formulas (im no good at studying even if i did have time i wouldnt know what to have studied) i did all my homework and extra credit but i only ended up with a C- in the class (before the exam- which i failed so ended up with a D in the class) Im so sad that i have to retake it, i feel such a failure, because i love math i wish i was good at it. IIN? should I give up on it?

You should retake it. Although it sounds like you're not really sure how to study for it. Do lots and lots of sample problems. You shouldn't really have to memorise formulas. If you've done lots of practice questions you usually won't really have to 'memorise' anything.

Don't feel bad, you just didn't put enough time in. If you retake it, just try and smash it.

Math concepts are cool (at least enlightening). But the problems take thoroughness and attention to detail. Recheck your work ever two or three steps as you are doing the problem.
