I like to scratch my foot until it bleeds

Basically i have athletes foot and its very itchy all the time, i really enjoy itching it just like people enjoying itching a mosquito bite, but its got a little excessive and it bleeds and i have scabs on the bottom and top of my foot and flakes of skin come off when i itch. Even though it bleeds i still itch it because i like to, i dont want to get rid of it because i like it but my girlfriend thinks its gross and it smells.

    I voted yes to the scratching being normal: when I had tinea years ago the relief of scratching the itch was almost orgasmic.

    Doing it to the point of drawing blood isn't a good idea and if the area is getting smelly you probably have some sort of secondary infection.
