I like to text people in person rather than talk out loud. iin?
I will be face to face with a friend and we'll be dead silent, but we're texting away in conversation with each other. Sure, we could talk, but this is just better. Anyone do this?

pretty dumb thing to do unless you use it as a joke* eg. texting the person I'm with "I wish you were here instead. I'm with this dumbass who's so annoying" and then immediately after sending it saying to their face "oh shit that text wasnt meant for you pls dont open it!"
*use at your own risk if the person doesnt know you well
I find people are more honest in text than face to face or on the phone.
Sounds awesome. I used to do it when I was a kid and had friends sleep over at my place, and we'd txt all night long... But that was cuz we didn't want my parents to find out we were still awake and get in trouble. But txting f2f when u can just speak like a not socially retarded/dumb/insane person and make sense... I dunno just sounds... STILL AWESOME! I'll dfntly try it.
I do it sometimes as a joke but I think it's pretty sad that it's easier to communicate that way rather than talking, there's so much more to pick up on.
That's called being socially retarded. Damn cell phones created these lil monsters:)
People are losing social skills of talking face to face due to texting. Sad.
I find this behavior irritating. Are there many other people around when you do this?
Doesn't make sense at all. You'd rather spend 10 minutes texting a person that's literally right there, when you could talk to them and probably finish that conversation in 2 minutes.
I'd rather people text than have to listen to everyone's freaking conversation >.>
