I like you guys

I came to this site because I've been having a really hard time. I have PTSD and the problem with support groups that you can find on Facebook or Reddit or wherever else is that you have to be an absolutely perfect cookie-cutter mold of whatever groupthink that social media platform adopted or else you can expect to receive no respect or help or even an attempt at empathy from them

So I came here to ask inflammatory, often rhetorical questions just because I'd been feeling pissed off and wanted to piss other people off. But I was surprised to find how chill everyone here is. For example, there have been a few times when I would really be tearing into someone and get a notification that they left a comment on one of my responses that isn't continuing the fight, just adding to a totally different conversation. I really like that people here tend to focus on the individual questions or polls rather than holding grudges over petty internet squabbles, even when someone (me) is being a jackass and intentionally trying to start a fight

It's really a completely foreign feeling to me that you can make overt efforts to be a contrarian piece of shit and people will still accept you for who you are. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for that
