Ever since i have seen one i have LOVED flat caps you know the type the hats with flat bottom is it normal for a girl to like them and would people take the piss out of me if i wore one? Is it normal for a girl to like flat caps?

Haha I initially read this as "I like cat flaps", as in the one's on the bottom of doors, and was thinking it was indeed an unusual obsession!!!
Flat caps however are perfectly normal!
You should express yourself in any way or form you desire. The opinions of others are irrelevant, so long as you feel comfortable and confident within yourself.
If you find youself asking multiple people if somehing looks good,(beyond a couple of close girlfriends that is!), chances are you are already unsure about your fashion choice.
Try wearing the cap around the house initially to get used to the look/feel of the piece and to see whether it is indeed an accurate reflection of your personality.
Mononator is right as usual! Always gives great advice! Wear one and don't worry what others think! I wear weird hats with pom poms and weird things on then and if anyone ever says anything to me I just smile and tell them I like it! Wear your flat cap and smile!
Well if you love them, who cares what people think of you. If it makes you happy, you should wear it. Maybe more people will wear some after seeing you wear it :)
