I love my cat so much

I posted a story on here about my cat whose 16 and almost died but came back to full health anyway I love him so much the only cat I've had, I had him since I was 4. He purrs at the sight of me, let's me hold and Carry him around like a baby, beckons me to my room at night so he can sleep next to me, sometimes even in my arms, all while purring. Nothing about him disgust me although others would say he is dirty, I don't care, I do anything to make him happy and comfy, I let him sit in my lap during meals and even let him drink milk out of my cup or lick off my plate. I hug and kiss him on the mouth I don't care "where it's been". When he was sick I cried 3 days straight and dreamed about saving him every night. I spend every moment I could with him during recovery and didn't talk to anyone else the whole time. It seens no one else could under stand how much a cat can mean. I had great luck to have him back and for it I am eternally thankful. is it normal to love my cat so much? Now don't think I'm a "crazy cat lady", he is my only cat and he isn't smelly or anything.
