I love my dog. i love dogs. i love horses. i don't like people. iin?

They're more sincere. People are 50/50 sincere. IIN? I have good intuitive sense around animals. People seem to piss me off. They become annoying. I'm pickier than ever about human friends. I don't really need them. Maybe in a former life I was a wolf or I was raised by wolves. Normal?

Animals dont judge ...if you are kind to them feed them they show you affection... you can tell them all your problems...when you feeling down they can cheer you up.
so generally they are nice to be around.

Im sorry you have so little faith in people :(
But I can see where you are coming from.

    I love my pet ferret♡

    • Thanks! Its actually high selectivity. Its finickiness. Deep down I'm an idealist. Surface-ish people with their fakey networky-ness gets really old. Animals are sincere. Ferrets are adorable. Very weasel looking? Maybe they're related? Don't quite know. They play mad if there are two together, the baby ones do.

I always try to see the best in people.
ut I do love animals...most people do. I would be wary if some told me they hated animals.
ferrets are related to weasels and polecats. I only have one as I can only afford to take care of one...but she is not lonely as there is always someone at home ready to play. :)

        • Learned something new about ferrets :-) I have no idea if they're kept single or in pairs. This has me randomly thinking of the movie Along Came Polly, lol!

People exhaust me. I don't know what to expect from them from one day to the next. Very spoiled creatures. I'm with KindofWeird. Unfortunately my job is very people centric as well, and worst, I'm very good at it. Go figure....

Dogs and horses are creatures of habit. They have their schedules. If you don't feed them promptly they stare you down. I know what to expect of them.

Animals are like Toblerone bars. You like them. You know they are great. You know what to expect. You know they will never leave a bad aftertaste no matter what. There is a unique comfort in having them because they are a safe choice.

People are like an expensive box of assorted dark chocolates. Chances are you might get one piece with such a rich creamy center, and that tastes so amazing it beats the Toblerone bar by MILES, something Toblerone can never come close to. But you might also end up eating one that has such a disgusting gooey center, or with such a bitter aftertaste you'd want to throw the entire box away. But if you throw the box away you are only making the taste of the bad chocolate linger on your tongue. It would be the last thing you ever tasted. And what's the best way to neutralize the bad taste? Trying another piece from the box.

Sigh. All this chocolate talk really makes me want one. In due time. It's still early in the day and I don't want to spoil my eating routine again.

I feel this way too. It has more to do with the trust. Knowing that they will never let you down, will always be there for you and love you unconditionally. Hard to find these characteristics in a human being.

I'm the same as you. I saw a brilliant quote somewhere that summed it up ... animals only break your heart when they 'cross the bridge'. Humans, on the other hand, always let me down...

Probably because you're an egotistical piece of shit and dogs can provide you with that constant up-your-ass attention that insecure little nobodies like you desperately desire.

    • Crusades_, thus you prove my initial point. Excellent timing. Be gone, angry one. I wouldn't even stoop to toss you. I'll send someone else to dispose of you. It is not usual to start a conversation with such an unwelcoming tone. If you wish to start again through we might start by talking about the weather. Neutral topics. That's the convention.
