I also love to do this. I do not tell anyone about it, of course, except for my partner. I relate the feel of it being pulled out to a release kind of like an extremely mini orgasm of sorts

I do the same thing. I'll pluck until there's no more to pluck. My friend says, "why don't you just get them waxed?" but it's a sensation I get and feel relieved as I pull out. yep.. definitely not normal lol

a guy. i do it too. i'm not sure why but it does "feel good!" all the time. i think a mini orgasm is pretty much what it feels like when it comes out. hurts a little and makes me go to sleep. crazy. never any peeling or bleeding. i didn't know many others are doing this! whats the explanation for doing it?

This is an actully called trichotillmania which is an impulse control issue that helps you get reliefe when you are probabley stressed or feeling sad so it goes a little bit deeper than getting your legs waxed. Try to identify the emotions that make you want to pluck out your hair. This can cause scabs and infections when you keep pulling out your hair so can cause you some pain physically but I would be concerned about other issues in your life that make you want to do this. This does not make you abnormal or 'wierd, it is just your own way of dealing with emotional pain and for you it works but I would be concerned that your dealing with emotional pain alone and using this as self medication. Dont be scared to talk to somebody you can trust and tel them about this especially if it is a stress management mechanism because you do not want to end up pulling out hair from your scalp and your eyebrows if this habit escalates. It is not good for your health.

I'm a guy and been plucking my armpit hair for years I also pluck hair from my ball sack and it gives me a feeling of relief and kind of pleasurable sensation and yeah not all hair is pluckable for me I pluck it with my fingers and i can feel those hair which is pluckable to me without pain will be pleasurable to pluck.

The problem is I saw a video of a women with pus and ingrown hair in her armpit being removed I didn't even knew about an ingrown hair until now and turns out plucking hair can cause damage to hair follicle and result in ingrown hair as i looked more there are many side effects of it an trust me, you don't want an ingrown hair and pus under your armpit and of course I am not sure but I have read this by searching at many places on internet but I myself is not sure but scared that it should't happen with me as it was disgusting to watch that video of removing puss and ingrown hair. Some more research and clarification with an expert will be much appreciated.

That's my weird habit as well.. I constantly search for hair and I remove it as soon as I find.. and then I touch it's wet root on my lips :D bigger the root, better the satisfaction. Sometimes , hair grows under the skin. and then it itches. and after itching it comes outside. It happens after every 2 or 3 months.. but that is special. I try to pluck it completely from root.
I am not stopping my habit because I think it is harmless. and keeps my armpits clean.

Omg I literally googled this to see if I was the only one that did it. I have been plucking them since I was like 14 when they started growing and literally can't stop. It feels so good lmao. That's crazy to see how many ppl do the same thing and enjoy it

I have really dark armpits and I hate it! Makes me insecure about wearing sleeveless shirts.. So I started plucking them. I wouldn't say it feels good, ouch !! I have to get used to it. The only feeling I get (besides pain) is the feeling of a clean armpit! Because with shaving, I heard it only gets the top layer of hair and leaves it stubby. But plucking gets the whole hair out! it takes a really long time though to get every single hair so it's really time consuming

I love plucking my armpits! I've been doing it for over 5 years now, I think and I can't go a few days without plucking them. It's so much better than shaving and I've noticed over time by hair growth has slowed down and my hairs aren't as thick anymore. I also love it when I spot an ingrown hair, and I'm able to pluck it off. It just gives me so much relief, that and when I pluck out a thick hair and you can see the root/bulb thing at the end.

Also, I prefer plucking to waxing because with waxing you have to wait for all the hair to grow back.

I'm glad to see other people like to do this, also. I thought I was the only one. I'm a 30 something female, who's been tweezing my armpit hairs for close to 16 years. There's such a satisfaction with tweezing, just feels cleaner.

You need to try Amino Acid Therapy. It works! I am 39 and have worn a full wig since age 17. I started taking Neuro Replete and CysReplete about 3 months ago. I am at level two and it has completely worked. We have a serotonin deficiency which can be checked with a urine test. Try a serch on serotonin deficiency and then call Natural Path Health Center at 608-274-7044 they can help explain.
