I'm 22 and i'm lost, iin?

I'm 22 years old and I still don't know who I am or what I'm doing. I have no idea what I want or what to do with my life.

When I was younger I thought I'd have my shit together by the time I was 22. Is this normal or am I a screw-up?

I think it's normal. At least it really sounds like me. I'm 22 as well and not sure what career I want either.

In the same boat! I will be 22 next year and I thought I would most things figured out but I seem to be getting even more dazed and confused the more I learn about life and myself...you know what I mean?

I know what you mean, yeah. Seems the more I know about life, the more confused I am.

I agree with flutterhigh. Also, I think this way of thinking will only hold you back. I know it sounds corny, but learn to love yourself and how to recognize and utilize your talents. Focus on your goals for the future and put effort into making your dreams your reality. A bit of self respect and determination can go a long way :)

I'm pretty sure the definition of lost is "being 22". Normal. Anyone who acts like they know what they're doing at that age is a bullshit artist.

I'm 22 too, and I haven't done so many things that I should've done by now. That's why I feel I'm lost as well.

what exactly are you doing with your life atm? college? work? anything. if not find something to do, and try and set yourself some targets for yourself, you are still very young. Im 22 and feel lost. I finished a honory degree in Psychology a few months back and now doing a post graduate course in law and i feel lost.. i do sometimes feel like im not going anywhere. I have a part-time job on top of that and a bf and still.. somtimes i do feel pretty lost..

just find something you love doing xx

    22, so young.
    You're just a kid still.
At 22 I was getting drunk all the time, and generally in the midnight car drags, followed by late night disco, girls and choof sessions.
    How I survived I really don't know.

I'm 22 now and I'm finding it old. I miss being 17! That was the best age, drinking illegally made it better haha

It wasn't the naughtiness part of drinking and going out at 17, that has made you bored now. It was the fact that you started too young and experienced things much too early in life.

What you need to do is find your youth enthusiasm again.
Try different night spots, take up dancing, join the netball team, whatever, just do something young (ie 18yo stuff generally)

Once you've passed through your youth (properly this time) You'll know where you want to be. I suspect it will only take a year to know.
