Yeah, it's normal. Youth is generally considered desirable, but people seem to have this idea that older people shouldn't get to be with younger people, because they don't deserve them- "date within your league".

Some people also say it's creepy, which makes no sense. As you age, do you suddenly stop thinking humans in their prime are attractive just because you're not yourself?

When I was 25 I pretty much considered any attention from a 39 year old to be harassment. Honestly, I never dated anyone as old as 39 until I was 45.

No it's not normal. If you'd tell this to a group of females under 25 they would all tell you are pathetic.

If you're looking for a real, possibly lifetime relationship, than that's correct. But OP sounds like he's just dating women for their bodies, and couldn't be looking for anything serious, since he puts an expiration date on his partners.
