I'm afraid of big fish. mostly whales. is it normal?
Since I was little I never really liked fish. They always creep me out. When I was small, chills would go down my back when I would enter feed stores with a whole wall of fish in tanks.
As I grew older the fear got crazy and now I can't stand even swimming in my pool's deep end. I'm terrified of whales, sharks, and anything giant that's in the water. I'm still afraid of the pet store walls and can't stand being near them. Although gold fish sized fish don't scare me. So it is not ichthyophobia (The fear of all fish.)
I can't see pictures, watch videos, or even think of them without cowering in freight. Is this a phobia or is this just me?
