Me too! Learning to swim properly has been on my list of things to do for years and I'm seriously planning to have lessons next summer at the local swimming centre, if I can afford it.
Surviving in the water is what's important, not the beauty of your stroke.
A lot of people cannot swim your not alone I never started till I was 13 only been doing it 5yrs
Its fine, my grandma doesn't even know how to swim and she's in her late sixties
Some people find it hard to float. Its okay to be a floater. After-all you don't wanna sink.
It's not hard to float! It's about a certain way of breathing. I can swim but prefer to just float. Normal.
Me too. Well, I can side stroke and breast stroke (giggity) too but those are essentially variations of doggy paddle. I don't give a fuck, that shit is comfortable and I swim for leisure motherfuckers! Not tryna be some Mark Phelps speed demon.
Lots of people can't swim correctly, so it's normal. If you can, get some lessons or have a friend teach you. Swimming is a lot of fun once you get it. :)
Normal, I can only really swim underwater, I can swim normally I guess but really slowly and clumsily, as a kid my parents used to try and teach me to swim whenever we went on holiday but all I wanted to do was go underwater....and have underwater slow mo matrix fights with my brother
