I'm introvert in real life but extrovert online

I don't understand why my personality is different depends in real life or online. Sometimes, I feel like a fake person when I'm outgoing during online while my personality is otherwise in real life. I'm not forcing myself to be an extrovert.

I don't know what drives me to feel like this. It's like I can easily abandon the personality of an introvert while online. Can I have some advices regarding this? I can't seem to understand myself. Thank you so much.

    ya same here. im like the least social person irl but online, esp on games, im usually the one doign the msot talkin and getting people together lmao.

    i think its pretty normal, and i dont think it means that im fake or anything. its just that w me, i feel way more comfortable online and its real nice talkin to people. plus theres less...noise, which is an odd point but the lack of needing to actually speak to someone like me w a mental illness is pretty damn great. i can let my inhibitions go online, i guess thats why i become way more extraverted - right down to the feelin lonely when no ones talking to me.

    I to was stuck in your position for a long time.
    If you want to get over it you can try doing what i did.

    If you are in school or have a job no matter what you will get a chance to interact with people who you have seen before try to find common interests and practise communication.
    Eventually interaction irl will become easyer and then comes the harder part wich is communicating with strangers when you go out, with this i cannot help seeing i myself have not found a solution for this.

      Before I gained access to the internet in the past, I never knew there are a lot of people share similarities with me. But now, your comment is the proof. :D
