I'm not sure why i drew 8's all over my page

I was in math class and started drawing the letter 8 all over my homework page till it was covered, when I looked up, the number stood out to me and I saw 8 on the chair and everything, I'm not sure why I drew them, but it felt normal, there's a joke that theirs a "ghost" In the back of the room, but nothing has happened back their and it's a joke so is this normal, my teacher also said 8 is a bad number....
