ok so i've always been into true crimes, murder mysteries, documentaries about the same but lately, i've noticed that i'm being turned on by them, by richard ramirez, ted bundy and even by fictional killers portrayed in movies and tv seties. everything dark seems alluring to me, making me horny. it's not just the serial killers, anything fucked up is turning me on. i was watching AHS and a guy murdered someone for a girl he liked and my mind went, "i would like that," i realise this is sort of messed up, but that isn't stopping me. what is happening?

    Attraction to killers is a somewhat well-known phenomenon I think. I don't know the official psychological explanation of it though.

    There are whole communities of serial killer fangirls on the internet. Of the people in them, some are weird serial killer apologists, some actively try to present themselves as being really fucked up people for some reason, and some just wanna fuck Ted Bundy. Wanting to fuck Ted Bundy is somehow the most healthy of these three things.

    What I'm saying is, your impulse on it's own is normal and I hope you don't let it take you down any weird rabbit holes.

      I've noticed this with the Columbine killers. There's a shocking amount of teenage girls who crush on them and have even written fanfics about them (I believe there is/was a Tumblr community as well). Pretty scary, really.

        Very true! Lol, my ex cheated on me with a girl who was known to be both physically and verbally abusive, and when I told him I didn't want to hear about it once she started pulling her crap on him, he said "That's okay, I like 'em rough and a little crazy".

        Guess who came crawling back crying about how abusive she was? 😂
