As a black man trying to make it in this world, I hope it's not because they were black jokes.
Maybe what's really stopping you is you? Maybe you're afraid of offending people, because deep down inside you want people to like you, and you're afraid that if you offend people they won't like you?
Don't get me wrong, because it's not like I don't get offended, I do, but I don't walk around getting offended by every little thing.

If I'm out with a group of friends to dinner or whatever, and I tell the same jokes Dave Chappelle tells, I'm sure to offend someone in the group!
