I see myself obsessing lots about a samurai, them and their cool ass looking helmets with their armor and their katanas probably more badass than ninjas.
Japan is badass for ninjas and samurais. One of the coolest cultures and history on the planet. You gotta respect a warrior culture like that.
Gonna have to plead ignorance here. I thought samurai and ninjas were the same thing.
from what i know (not the OP) ninjas were the sneaky ones in black and famous for using poison or shurikens while samurai were basically the equivalent of the western knight with codes of honour and swords and armour and all that
Ninja were effectively spies; they performed espionage. Samurai were members of the socially elite who were expected to protect the poor if they needed it. They were not mutually exclusive, since samurai was a social class, and ninja was a profession. Many ninja were also samurai. It seems that I know more than the person who to be obsessed with samurai, since their post implies that samurai and ninja are mutually exclusive. Also, a katana would be a poor choice of weapon for a ninja, since they are large swords, which are not very discreet.
That depends do you actually know the functions of their armor and who they were?
