I play exterminating wasps
To me, it's a dangerous but yet thrilling reality game that has fascinated me since my teens.
MISSION: Exterminate colonies of wasps around my property.
WEAPON: A can of DOOM insecticide.
I should give you a background story that probably led to this action packed hobby of mine. Yes, I was once stung by a wasp 3 or 4 times in my face in one offensive.. (you know how wasps sting, right?) And this was even on the eve of our (where I was raised) version of your American Prom Night. So with my face disfigured from massive swellings.. and even a pronounced swelling on the left part of my chest, a part of my body the wasp's stings didn't come in contact with.. (Guys, wasps are brutal!) I had to miss said 'Prom Night'.
Years later after that incident, realizing I had colonies of wasps around my property, and the possibility of holding a can full of insecticide, I decided it was time to seek my revenge. But revenge served to my old enemy in action packed reality game fashion.
THE THRILL OF THE GAME: I don't wear any protective gear prior to making my first insecticide spray upon any particular colony. Knowing that I have over a dozen or so 'sting-happy' wasps flying all around me I get that thrilling fear of being on the frontline in a war game where a bullet (read sting) can hit me anytime. And so I have to duck, lay flat on the ground, hide around the corner of the house, all the while spraying insecticide ferociously at any wasp within potential sting range.
I find this a fun-filled action game reality game I wouldn't trade for a playstation.
Is this normal?
