I prefer petite women, preferable between 5' and 5'5" or so. I've had this preference as long as I can remember. Even in HS I dated a girl who was MAYBE 5' and about 95 lbs. I just find them SO sexy! Anyone else? I've dated tall women, but honestly I don't find them as attractive. Not like petite women. Mmm!

I'm 6'1", so it'd look weird for me to be with a woman who's 5'.
But both my dad and grandpa chose shorter women. My grandmother was only 5' and my mom is 5'3".
PS: From being on here and knowing a bunch of Americans in real life, I can now quickly switch between metric an imperial. I have infiltrated your society! The next step is to move to the US once there are no more visa requirements and be a real American! Mwahahahahahaha!

Imperial is just such a garbage heap measuring system. It's just so random. A foot is, what, one guys feets long? And there's 5280 in a mile...WHAT? It makes no fucking sense. That there truck is about 12 horse butthairs long and weighs more than 10,000 otters.
Having said that, I constantly struggle switching, living in a metric country.

One thing I despise is comparing everything to football fields, elephants and jumbo jets.
If a container ship weighs 150000 tons it weighs 150000 tons! That's enough information. I don't need to picture 37000 elephants in a grid to understand how heavy said ship is!
And comparing heavy things to aircraft is just stupid, cause airplanes are designed to be light! A 747 is 71 meters long, weighs between 150 and 200 tons and has a max take off weight of about 300 tons, but a 100 meter self propelled river barge can carry 1500 tons of cargo, or more! This comparison makes zero sense!

Again, I'll regret saying this, but mile comes from milia which is one thousand in Latin. In ancient times, a mile was the distance a Roman Legion marched in a thousand paces. Standardization to 5280 feet occurred by Parliamentary mandate in 1592 making the whole thing annoyingly messy.
As you would know, but others may not, the metric system is based on the size of Planet Earth as well as the density of water, and boiling/freezing temperatures. IMO, that's nice because it's harder to fuck up any of those reference points. Even celestial navigation becomes a snap when you have a sextant calibrated in gradians (hundredths).

Normal. I’m 5’0 but the current consensus amongst internet liberals is that guys who like girls around my height are all pedophiles and short girls should just stay single forever or something. It’s ridiculous.

I'm one of the exceptions because while short women are no doubt attractive to Mr. E. E. Cummings... I can only see a woman as wifey material if she's tall i.e. no lower than 5'8". I dont know why this is, I have a few guesses, but it's how my brain works :/

One of my partners was about 5ft. But she just happened to be short, not a preference.
Its all fun in the bedroom by being so much bigger and able to lift her up easy but once you start having kids you'll be wishing they'll take after your genes. If I ever had kids with another girl id pick the most alpha girl I could find. Someone like Megan Anderson. Our kids would be giant
I liked smaller girls, even went after them a little on the younger side but I kinda regret having pastachild with a short woman cause I'm scared he won't be able to fuck up snowflakes on the playground but that's why I bought him a gun
Yes, it's totally normal to have height preferences. I'm an average height woman and I like men who are 6 feet and more.
