I procrastinate sleep

I'm chronically sleep deprived as a result of my tendency to put off going to sleep. I hate getting up in the morning but I hate going to bed. I don't have any problems going to sleep apart from the thought of what better things I could be doing.

    I still remember a friend saying more than 30 years ago that she put off going to sleep because she didn't want the next day to come.

    Guess what? I'm back in touch with her and she's now a confirmed insomniac, but won't stop taking her laptop or tablet to bed with her. That blue light screws with your sleep patterns.

    It's normal, but really bad for your health longterm - do some research about the effects and I think you'll be motivated to change this unhealthy pattern.

    You need to stop doing that and go to bed at a normal time! I keep getting my sleep schedule out of whack. I sleep when people are supposed to be up and when people are supposed to be in bed, I'm up. I'm trying to get myself back on track.

    I do that too. I love sleeping, but I just go to bed after I look like a zombie and can't do anything productive, anymore.
    I mean, Unless I have to get up early on the following day.

    Same here, I have sleep apnea, and my CPAP machine is broken.
