I purr when someone rubs my belly

I recently found out from my ex that whenever she used to rub my belly I'd purr...it's happened again too when a friend did it..is it normal to purr when someone rubs your tummy?

    I went out with a girl who did this. It was kind of adorable. Not sure if it's normal, but I liked it.

    What can I say I love tummy rubs! If purring is a side effect so be it :) It also comes with teh perk of snuggling!

      humans can make the purr sound. but only cats have the purr box in their throat.
