I really don't want my dog

My dog drives me nuts. Got her 3 years ago( her owners didn't tell us she cant/ won't be potty trained). He also bolts and runs away every chance she gets. Yaps her head off, eats trash, my clothes, cat poop etc. Guns my cat and head hurts him he's lost 2 teeth cause she Is too rough.Is the neediest creature. I feel bad hating her cause she's so dumb. I wish I never got her but my son is attached. I never had a dog before but I know other dogs who want to listen to their owners. She does not give af. She only listens indoors you're feeding her treats. Outside, hell no.
Anyone else??

Watch the 'It' s me or the dog' on YouTube. This amazing dog trainer called Victoria goes into homes torn apart by dogs like yours, and she demonstrates to their owner how to control them. Her techniques look really easy to do. I'm hooked on it and I don't even have a dog.

So i called a trainer to see if she can learn not to run away & pee in the house. I dont really hate her she can be cute...guess im just not a dog person.

People should need qualification to get dogs... You obviously haven't trained it. You need to train a dog. If you can't even understand something as basic as that you shouldn't have a dog. I always say if the dog has problems it's the owners fault. It's quite rare that it isn't. You should give it up for adoption or learn some basic ethology or see an expert.
The treat thing is good. Most dogs ARE food motivated and you can use this to train your dog. Always always instead of punishing for bad behaviour, reward for good behaviour. Everytime your dog does something good, hand her a treat. There are more information about this technique online i'm sure. Otherwise just ask me, I am qualified in animal care and training.

  She runs away and will not come back. Im afraid she will get hit by a car. Also she doesnt pee in our room for a month then reverts. Idk why.

Walk, walk, walk. Walk it way way more. Walk it to its buggered. Walk it 15 minutes after it eats, I know they say to wait longer but this way it will shit down the street and not in your house.

Sorry about all the dumbasses. I noticed you said "he" once but I understand the mistake and knew the dog was a she. Anyways. Try looking up dog trainers or simply find someone who will adopt the dog and be a good home for her and explain to your child why that was the best choice. They should understand.

There are such things as dog trainers you know, who almost invariably have to train the dog owners first. Maybe a trainer could show you how to tell the difference between a male and female dog? Hold on, I'll tell you now: if the dog has a dick it's a male, if not it's female. If it has balls it should've been neutered as a puppy.
