I belong from a hindu orthodox family. But i dont believe in god. I've had 14 girlfriends but i dont believe in love. I simply dont believe in any abstract feeling or idea. Is this normal? How does it feel having faith in god ? How does love feel?
I really need to know this. So, comments are most awaited and appreciated. Thanks.
I have no idea what it's like to believe in god. I never did and luckily my family wasn't the pushy religious type. There are some believers among them but they aren't preachy. Love on the other hand, yuck. Feels like heartburn.. There's nothing wrong with being that way, as long as you don't delve too deep into the unfeelingness and go on a killing spree or something.
Love sucks. It changes you. It makes you do different things and think differently, not always in a good way, especially when there's jealousy involved. It can also make you feel like you're on top of the world and nothing can hurt you, then it hurts so badly when it ends you wonder why you let yourself get into this. You can't stop blaming yourself even when you know it's not your fault. Well, that's my experience anyway... I wish love didn't exist... that being said, I would do it again. Once more at least. There must be something to it right? There must be! It can't all be horrible, right?

I was raised as a conservative Muslim. I only believed until I was 11 or so, then my faith all crashed down because I understood reality. Faith is a complicated thing, there's a whole lot of things it could mean for different people. It's normal to question, but don't try to force yourself to believe.
