She wants not only control of your power usage but every aspect of your life. Medical, housing, nutrition on and on and on. She wants this accomplished in a mobilisation effort akin to a war effort on a 10 year time line, oh and she has not given any details as to how to do it, or how to pay for it.

Is wanting to save the planet supposed to be a bad thing? Is wanting to make health care cheaper and better supposed to be a bad thing? We’re already getting fucked by insurance companies and we’re all fucking over the planet, she’s trying to stop all the fucking. The beautiful thing is, unlike the Trump tax cuts for the super rich that have caused the deficit to explode, her ideas basically pay for themselves.

I'd rather move to Northern Europe and enjoy "socialism" and thriving economies, along with the best health care and educational systems in the world, not to mention the happiest people. If that sounds familiar, you're right, that's how things worked for decades in the US up through the 1970's. If only there was a way to find out what the marginal tax rates were then and how things were paid for...go find that out and report back to me.

Nik it is high for businesses too. UPS paid 35% of their annual income to the government last year. If they dont have the money now to pay their workers high wages what makes you think taking more money from them will do? The grass isnt always greener on the other side. The government might take care of you (welfare) for a little bit but sooner or later a guy like Donald Trump will be back in the white house and he will take it away. Let the private sector make money. Keep the government out of it. Government becomes corrupt.

I know conservatives suck at factual things like science and math, but 63% and 90% are two different numbers. Oh and the highest marginal tax rate isn't "taxing businesses" either.

Well, despite being far from the perfect representative of those values in a lot of ways, she did have the most votes by a comfortable margin. Donald had 46.1% of the votes, which means that 53.9% - a majority - don’t agree with his values, if this is how we’re determining that. And we all saw what happened in the 2018 election.

Yes by far Hillary won the popular vote. But he took that electoral collage (or college) and ran.
And the 2018 elections did prove that many americans want democrats in the house. However, NY’s recent passing of the legalization of third term abortions for broad health exceptions have proven to be distasteful to many voters, blue and red alike. 80% disagree with the bill, and actually, there are many voters who consider cortez’s green bill a little too crazy. Of course, the future remains unseen, though predictions show that the democrats might need to calm down or else they’re going to lose supporters and the republicans could use a little polishing up.
I’m just honored to say that (If i don’t die) i’ll be able to vote in 2020!

Her supposed "socialism" is the way things worked in the US for 50 years, and not only did it not lead to bankruptcies but that was the most successful 50 years this country has ever seen.
