I respect ppl who have ability of violence

I respect groups of people who will fight if need be. I dont like men who are scared of physical conflict or people who have never engaged in it. For some reason these rugged types of people are more respectable to me. But I also do not respect douchebags or bullies.

I think people have gotten way too used to not getting punched in the face and its nice to have a group of friends who know what thats like. I think the internet has created such weakness in people which floods into the real world. When you are used to being anonymous and calling people names over the internet you get male karens going up to people shouting and saying slurs and seem to not comprehend that some people will punch them in the mouth.

  • Are you a woman?

  • No throwing fists at the first sign of disrespect comes off as insecurity. But having boundaries where you will punch someone or slap them is a good quality.

Violence is typically the domain of man. Women tend to have different perspectives on the matter.

Yeah a man should know how to fight. If you can't fight you can't protect yourself, your family and your country. The Western world is in a state of being of a massive pussy atm, but some men can still hold their own. Woe to the West for the day those men die.

    • Have you noticed its disproportionately white people who have a disgust by the use of fighting? I see us as just being weaker than the rest now. I think it has to do with living too comfortably for too long. It kind of grosses me out to be honest. We are like domesticated poodles now. If someone comes up and takes our food we just run off and say "Violence is never the answer. Call the cops!"

I remember a famous saying from a book. it goes something like this. Strong men bring good times, good times breed weak men; weak men bring bad times; bad times breed strong men. it's sad, and it's true, and we are in good times at the moment.

I hate bullies. I'm 8 stone, 5 foot 4. My next door neighbour was a young girl with a baby and a boyfriend that liked to beat her. During the pandemic he was getting her good, she was screaming like she needed help. I ran to the screaming and she was being choked with her own hair. I got him off her and he beat me black and blue with a bat. People told me I shouldnt have got involved because of my bruises. I dont regret it for a second. Thankful i wasnt permanently injured but I was shocked by everyone elses willingness to do fuck all to help to avoid a clap off this woeful man. Bruises heal. I will never permit bullies in my immediate vicinity for fear of myself getting hurt. Maybe thats idiotic on my part but thats just how I am. I dont fear temporary pain more than I fear not standing up for yourself and others when you are able to

    • If there was men in the area that witnessed a man beat a woman infront of her baby and didnt do anything this is actually an example of not being accustomed to violence becoming problematic.

Other men in our street turned a blind eye. Everybody knew what was going on in that house. Everyone had the mantra "dont get involved". I took the beating with the bat in the street in front of people, in front of my landlord. Who refused to cooperate with the police because the abuser threatened to smash his windows. My brother came and put himself between me and the bat and thats how it ended. Important to note though (maybe) i'm in the UK so the chance of him having a gun was miniscule. I wouldnt recommend getting involved in a situation where the dickhead could possibly be armed.

    That is a respectable trait.

    Imagine actually thinking this.

So as governments step on your rights and freedoms, your solution is 'protest peacefully'? Canadians tried that with the trucker rally and the government still cracked down.

Do I count as having "never engaged in physical conflict" if I've been punched in the face but can't fight? I've never landed a hit.

    • No but id say it is a good thing it happened honestly. It humbles you and teaches you boundaries.

There was nothing humbling about it nor did I learn anything. This was a kid back in grade school that punched me for standing at a bus stop.

            Can't argue with that.

  • Personally this mindet is very odd to me, but I see the logic in it. Maybe it's just a different upbringing.

  • What if a man slapped your wife on the ass infront of abunch of ppl? He humiliated you and your wife in public.

In this case as cheesy as it may sound you should defend the honor of your wife and not doing that makes you a push over to me.
