I rub dust particles

I've had this habit for a couple of years now. I like to rub dust, eraser shavings, powder-like particle things between my index finger and thumb. It gives me kind of a relaxing feeling. Supposedly dust is gross but I still touch it, washing my hands after the rubbing of course. It also depends where it is - if it is in a house of someone I know, I will rub the dust. If it's in some dirty place, or some unfamiliar house, I won't touch it, resisting the urge.
I also like to rub the eraser shavings between my fingers after I erase something. It gives me a good feeling!
Anyone else ever done this? IIN??

if I'm being honest i do the exact same thing and i have never found one person who does this and i thought i was some sort of freak for the longest time. even as a kid my parents wondered why all my pencils never had erasers and i even had stashes of eraser shavings for when i stopped using them in high school for pens and computers.

I do that with the beads in one of those cushions (cushtie/smooshie) then it suddenly feels HUGE

Totally normal, at least for me! I roll lint into little balls between my fingers. It's just a relaxing thing to do and to keep my hands busy.

Ahhh I think it's normal (try flour, it feels amazing!) Maybe it's like a stress relief? If I want to run a knife through someones chest, which is about 5 times a day, I run my hands under cold water to calm me down
