I spend a lot of time tanning to change my racial/ethnic looks

I live in a coastal city just above the subtropical belt and I try to be consistent, going to the beach every day off I have in the summer and also after work, since I work 5 minutes from the beach.

It's not really cool to be a white boy. In my childhood photos I'm dark blonde. Now I look a lot like Middle-Eastern or at least Mediterranean, though rather the former since I also have a dark beard..

I like a good tan myself, but I'll only go out in the sun for a few hours on the weekend. Right now I have a Mediterranean skin tone. After Ive worked outside for like half a day my whole face looks immediately healthier. The skin becomes firm and the circulation improves. I definitely don't like that pasty pale look. Ew!

Um, okay. I choose to stay out of the sun whenever possible, because I don't want wrinkles.

      Are these caused by sunshine?

Too much time in the sun can cause wrinkles.

Maybe but how much is too much.. If one sunbathes every day 10-11:30 or 6-7:30 it shall be fine, if you also use skin care products

I honestly don't know, because an ophthalmologist told me to stay out of the sun, and that's what I've done for the better part of a decade. Not to mention the fact that I've never been the type of person to lay out in the sun.

    Not normal.

Most people I know that stayed outdoors in the sun a lot wound up with skin that aged faster than normal. I'm talking sunspots, wrinkles, and saggy skin. These people were in their late 20's-early 30's and they looked like they were 40. Yuck!

Then there's the fact that staying out in the sun too much can increase your risk of skin cancer.

None of this shit is worth fucking up your skin. Try to like the way you look. There's nothing wrong with pale skin.

I like my pale skin, because I have less wrinkles than plenty of people who are younger than me, and I have sun damage in my left eye so I can't take any chances with skin cancer! I'd honestly rather have lung cancer than lose an eye, but I smoke tobacco only on very rare occasion, because I'm not trying to take any chances.

How did you get sun damage to one eye only?

You may want to check that with another one. It just doesn't make sense, how just one eye..I've had at least three occasions when dentists (all different) were telling me you have multiple cavities, fissures, even necrosis!,prepare 1-2000 bucks and lets schedule treatment and when I went to check with other more experienced and reputed specialists (also wealthier and less greedy) they rebuked these claims as completely false 'Your teeth are fine, no need any work to be done on them'. God save us from dishonest medical practitioners!

Nope, it's fine, because I'm not a sun worshiper. I wear sunscreen if I have to be out in the sunlight for an extended period of time, and I always wear a sunglasses, and a hat. I can take vitamin D3 supplements, and no harm will come to me from not engaging in sun exposure.

        :)
I've got less wrinkles than people younger than me as well. The gossipy females at my job who are about my age refuse to believe I'm 32. They think 30 is middle aged for a woman and anyone 30+ without wrinkles is unbelievable. XD

I've not noticed any wrinkles on myself so far. Bad skin condition has to do not only with sunshine exposure per itself but also multiple other factors: what time of the day it is - rays at 1-2 pm are much stronger and likely to burn than those at 10 am; the time of the year - rays at 12pm in August are less damaging than those at the same time in July; do you use some lotion, oil and other skin products;do you wash the salt in a shower after getting out of the water or let it dry on your skin; do you drink enough water; the rest of your lifestyle and how healthy it is.
Smokers usually tend to have less skin elasticity and be more wrinkly and generally look older whether they stay indoors or not.

I used to work the graveyard shift stocking at Target, and some of those people were real freaking morons.

To me you look like you're still in your twenties. I just think you take good care of your skin. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

A good chunk of these gossipy chicks are seasonal workers. They'll most likely be gone by February.

Thank you! I usually make sure to use sunblock whenever I can.

Yeah, some women are so toxic.

... and another thing, a few years back I participated in a paid marketing research study for a self tanner back when I was still living in Las Vegas. There were two groups, the light to medium skinned group, and the medium to dark skinned group. I was in the light to medium skinned group, and although I was in my mid forties I was probably the only woman over 30 without significant sun damage. All the women my age had a lot of sun freckles, and some moles. Anyway, I remember this woman who must have had Body Dysmorphic disorder, because she was darker than my Colombian mother, and she referred to her arms as, "pasty". I kept my mouth shut, but I just thought, "damn, she must think I'm a ghost", but who cares what she thinks. Seriously, I was kinda low key concerned that she was on her way to developing skin cancer. I think some women have twisted notions of beauty, or their beauty standards are unhealthy.

Just talking about this stuff makes me wanna eat some avocado, and drink some bottled water. Have you ever made avocado chocolate mousse? OMG! It's amazing!

P.S. my mom, and dad met on the beach when he was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone, and she was on vacation. My dad is a blue-eyed, blond Anglo-American guy, and my mom is a brunette Colombian woman. They both have sun freckles on their backs, and shoulders. When I was a kid I couldn't figure out why I was so different from them, now I know it's cause I'm kind of a semi-nocturnal sort of sunscreen wearing at the beach type of person. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ’“๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Isn't stocking shelves a typically male job,? It means lifting heavy packs etc.?

I dunno, unloading the truck, or throwing the truck, is something mostly dude do, but anyone can stock shelves. Also, it's mostly dudes working in the back stockroom with those big high shelves.

Maybe the type of work at Target is bothersome and exhausting and causes early aging.. A. mental note to better not pick a gf working there hehe. If we look at professional porn for comparison, I don't recall any of the 40+ MILFs being wrinkly..

It works different for girls. If she's curvy enough she's banging. There's a reason 'white boy' is a pejorative, not white girl..

Why not use fake tan? You can get subtle ones that you use over time so you wonโ€™t look like Donald Trump. As everyone else is saying what youโ€™re doing is dangerous and could have deadly consequences.

Fake things are not worth it. Walking around painted. How do I apply it smoothly on my back? And what happens when I start sweating? Or if I get a girl and the paint gets smeared on her hands.. It would be such an embarassment!

A good quality one will not be sweated off.

I think the real issue you should address is why you feel you have less value looking like a white person than a Middle Eastern one. It sounds like you have identity issues to solve.

I know several people who worship the sun and look at least 10 years older than they are. Also a few have died from skin cancer...just a little food for thought

Here is a dish for you rhen too:

Both my grandmother and grandfather were outdoor laborers for long years, she was a field worker and he - a builder. Working long hours in the scorching sun in summer. None of them got skin cancer and I've never heard them mention of anyone from their village getting. Probably they hadn't even heard of such a condition. So it's well possible it's not caused by sun but GMO and rest of artificial ingredients US food is trashed with..
