I still like video games

I'm a 27 years old woman and I still play video games, I watch animes, I read mangas, I read fanfictions and I want to write fanfictions... I work and I also talk about different subjects, but even so I'd like to know... is it normal? Is there really a certain age to like these things?

You seem like a very cool 27 year old woman to me.

More than age or maturity I think something like this depends on how much you enjoy such activities and how often you do them as well. For example I used to play video games a lot but recently because I have not had much time to play them, my interest has gone down which also makes me not want to play as much as I did in the past.

  • We should be friends.
I'm 19 and I'm a video game designer up in Seattle.
You're never too old for video games. My grandpa plays Halo ;D

I'm 22 and currently own a PS3, Wii, PS2, X Box, GameCube, and Nintendo 64. I have almost all the Zelda games, a lot of COD games, some girly-games(what can I say, I'm a girl after all!), a Halo game(I forget which now), Assassin's Creed(one and two(Hopefully three soon!)), a Donkey Kong game for my little cousin, and a lot more. I think you're in the clear.

I'm 54, I don't get into video games as I have always thought of them as a waste of computer technology. BUT, I love to watch some old cartoons, foghorn leghorn, bugs bunny, yosemite sam and the list goes on and on. I think it's part of having a great sense of humor.

Video games, anime and such are still relatively new to our society. As such older people see them as being for children and try to
    persuade us to this viewpoint.
This will change with our generation and it will become increasingly common (and normal) to continue ’gaming’ as an adult.

Don't know if it's normal. But if it isn't - who cares? No reason to stop doing what you enjoy.

How old are the peolpe who make all this stuff you like? They're probably like you.

I'd sooner go out with someone who likes these things than someone who doesn't. I don't know if it's normal on the wider scale of things, but it seems perfectly normal to me.

I wish my girlfriend played on videogames then we could do co-op together but instead I have to watch shit like hart of dixie, don't tell the bride and x-factor. Fuck my life why won't the stupid bitch play battlefield with me.
