    It'll mess up your teeth. My sister did that til she was in her early twenties, while she was sleeping. After braces, her teeth moved from it, in an outward direction. Like a donkey.

    It's totally normal. Most adults hide it but, if they didn't, you'd see it everywhere.

    Ya it's a comfort thing for sure..but maybe even a small sign that you have an addictive personality still looking for comfort. My suggestion ...don't freak when your teeth are crooked, and stay from drugs and other substances.

    I'm 23 and I find that when I'm alone watching tv or on the computer I'll occasionally still suck my thumb. I think it's a security thing.

    Not to be rude, so I apologize if I come off that way, but...

    stop sucking your thumb. It's a lame habit that babies own... and even babies should do something a little better. Oh, and I love babies too!
