I'm really bad at beginning and maintaining online friendships. I have no friends in real life: I'm Boo Radley, I never get out. You would think it might be easier to meet someone similar to you online, but I guess I'm too strange even for the internet.
The internet can be even harsher then real life in my opinion.It's much easier to be mean to people when you don't have to look them in the eye.So I don't think it's you that just has trouble making online friends.
I can't maintain friendships online either.In real life I have very few friends as well.I consider myself to be kinda weird,but I'm not really that social.
You could have social anxiety disorder or a personality disorder keeping you from your full potential of having friends.You should talk to a counselor.They may be able to help you figure out what is holding you back with making the friends you want to make.
Same here. I always feel too awkward and stuff. But, from personal experience, it seems that if you take a chance and go the extra mile, you'll begin to attract people.

I'm very good at making online friends, but I suck at keeping them. I'll be bff with someone for a month MAXIMUM (on average a week) then I start not caring about them, they kind of become boring for me. It's kind of the same with irl people, but I'm shier irl ... anyway if anybody wanna talk you can talk wit me..
same here i got few close friends and online usually the person eventually gets annoying and i block them lol
I don't have friends in real life, I'm friendly to ppl but I don't get close cause iv been hurt/used by close 'friends' in the past
Hey i am exactly like you...i like my space and like being by myself....others think i am weird because i am so quit....i am glad to be this way....keep your head up soon you will meet the right person.....
Haha "Boo Radley." Hey. Yeah, I'm just like you. And I absolutely suck at making and keeping online friends. Or conversely, you could say that I'm very good at avoiding relationships.
I thought that I was the only one like this. I mean, loads of people seem to meet their "soul mate" or "closest, bestest friends" online, but not me.
