I think asians have a faster metabolism?
I'm convinced because I'm white and I'm chubby but I got chubby during the quarantine. Before that I was thin but now after quarantine I should be losing weight because I'm not eating anything but salad chicken and eggs no junk food. I'm counting every calorie and I don't even use salad dressing.
I have a lot of asian friends, two are my roommates. They're the same age as me but one is Indian the other is Japanese. I live with them and something I noticed over the years is that both of them can literally eat anything they want and maintain an underweight figure. They'll literally binge eat all the time and I can't do that. They don't work out either. They can consume tons of cookies and chips etc and they are still size extra small..When we eat out on the weekend they order appetizers get like soup, fries, chicken wings and then their meal
My boyfriend is asian too and his sisters and I are close, they all eat junk food too and when I stayed with his oldest sister for a week she was eating 10x more than most white friends I have and yet she's extremely skinny. She literally downed an entire box of cookies and a pint of ice cream while we were watching a movie and I'm sitting there with my water
