I love dogs so much. I cant date anyone who doesnt like them, I spend hours with them, and talk about them all day every day. I dont feel complete without them, and love them more than people and would rush into a burning building for a random one. I feel very offended if someone doesnt like them.

Haha! Never sexual I swear. But I think my platonic passion for them has extended beyond being normal. Everyone around me laughs it off. But theyve accepted they will hear about dogs all day, they will never hate on them, you will tell me about your dog, and if we live together well have 8 little dog babies xD
It seems like you're giving people ammunition. If they decide you've been pissing them off they'll probably start hating on dogs in front of you to make you mad. Wiener dogs are my favorite. I can't stand cocker spaniels or poodles or chihuahuas though. A lot of them are assholes. And what about that video of the rottwieler playing with the two year old? At some point he decided he didn't want to play anymore so he ripped that two year old's limbs off and was chewing on them and stuff. Not all dogs are nice you know. What about dogs who bark too much at random people? I mean some dogs need to get a life. I sure liked my dog odie growing up though.
By the way the best dog movie ever made is hands down Hachi: A Dog's Tale. Get ready to grab the tissues though cause you're going to be doubled over in tears by the end of that one. It's based on a true story too. That's some dedicated unconditional love if I've ever heard from a dog.
I've got 3 and their personalities are so different, I love them and right back at me. Some say that dogs lick you for food, mine do but sometimes it's because they want to say ...hi.

So do you want to be a vet or a dog rescuer or something? I think to some extent it is normal but not if your counting on them for 'human situations'. A lot of people love dogs and I know a TON of dog lovers. So no...you're not that weird. ^_^ As long as you don't have a "sexual" relationship, otherwise that would be disgusting...
It seems to be more socially acceptable than loving cats, which is not fair.
Cats are little shits at times though, whereas cute dogs are 100% non-stop cuteness!
Nah I think its the other way around. All my friends love cats and force me to play with them and pet them and it results in me being attacked 95% of the time.
Really. Are you in the US? I don't know nearly as many people who like and have cats, compared to dogs. Plus there's that "cat lady" stereotype. Ugh. So annoying. I have a dog, and several cats. I try not to tell people unless they like pets too.
No, no...you don't love dogs "too much." There are lots of people on this site that love dogs "too much," and you're not one of them. No sir.
I know exactly how you feel they're literally my weakness im obsessed with them, I will cross the road to whatever side a dog is honestly they are my life <3
I hate and fear dogs and i tell you why.
When i was a kid i got chased by two of those nippy type dogs they just yip and yip and yip their owner just laugh while they yipped at me and i was crying it was so horrible.
That sounds really awful. Ive never been bit by a dog or even anything close to it. The worst is I was playing tug of war with my dog and he moved the wrong way and scratched me. But I have been attacked by like 10 catss and I cant sympathize when people tell me how great they are.
But its not funny if someone gets attacked by a large dog or small dog. Clearly they had no idea how to deal with dogs or they would have at least intervened. Those yippy dogs can be fucking vicious
I know a girl who is like that. Her das breeds greyhounds and i said her greyhounds should be in a zoo and she hit me a big manly punch in the eye

Maybe that was my sister who also breeds greyhounds and pretty much traded her husband for a bunch of dogs.
Now she is the dogs slave and gave up her husband to do it....smart.

LOL....I really don't know, hubby didn't come to me and tell me his reasons. sis didn't come to me and tell me either. All I know is she raised greyhounds and gave them 100% of her time, attention and affection [what I saw] and he was a after thought if a thought at all [what I saw] they divorced period. lol
Agreed lol.. and I have a maltese yorkie mix.. but my favorites are cavaliers and great danes :)
Nah you can't love dogs too much, just remember Dog spelled backwards is God. They are our salvation, peace and hope. Give doG everything and you will be free.
Of course we talk to them like they can actually understand us and we imagine them talking back.

Actually dogs are demons. The Demons have found a way into the hearts and souls of mankind. First they tried men, but even though dog was mans best friend it was the woman that had his heart. So the demons figured out that its not man they need to control but women. Although men are stronger and control the Earth its women who in most cases controls mens hearts. So they inhabited Dogs. They won and controlled the hearts of women, who are mesmorized in their presence. You might find that many women put their dogs over humans 99% of the time, even their own children flesh and blood. The demons follow these women around the house day and night to maintain control as the women work day and night to fulfill their every wish. I can't tell you how many women I see being taken for a walk by their masters at the park. They follow their doG around and cater to its every whim.

There is so much misplaced love in this world. Only human beings can express and interpret love at the level we do. Yet we purposely choose to give it to lower animals. A dog or a pig can not write a poem or a musical piece dedicated to love. They can't comprehend the meanings of words etc either.
Sad that we would neglect our own in such a way....
