ya, i've already been that paranoid. i speak french too, this summer i went to cape cod and me and my girlfriend spoke together in french if we want to keep our conversation secret u know, every once in a while someone would be like, "oh, vous parler francais, j'Ai etudier au beligue pendant 2 ans...." or something of the kind. i'm from montreal, and damn, i think there are more french-speaking people in the states then in fucking alberta.
