To insulate kids from being indoctrinated by their parents into religious cults, and believing other nonsense like Santa Claus. It also gives them the tools to recognize when they are being taken advantage of or abused by an adult and make them more likely to tell authorities.
So instead be indoctrinated by the government! They wouldn't have an agenda.

Bullies makes everything suck. I'm relatively sure that most of them have parents who are bullies too.
The one's that really scare me are the ones who are obsessed with conspiracy theories, and are all about living off the grid. I think the isolation from peers is downright child abuse. We are supposed to learn our social skills when we're young, not in therapy after a life of dysfunction.

Here's an interesting side note, when you first arrived in Delaware I went to a support group for victims/survivors of domestic abuse, and four out of the five women, myself included, had exes who had been into conspiracy theories. As far as I'm concerned if someone is into that bullshit it's a big red flag!
If kids knew anything about psychology, even on a child's level of understanding, they would grow up smarter and less likely to fall for the bullshit that most of us did in our 20's.
The world certainly doesn't want that. Why?
They would be less likely to fall for marketing tricks and therefore spend less money on needless stuff. Companies try to convince us we need a new phone, car, whatever.
I think it should be an optional subject so its not forced on kids if they dont want to take psychology but i do think it could be important.
I think they definitely should in secondary school (middle/high school) for all the reasons you mentioned.
I don't think there's anything wrong with small children believing in Santa Claus and fairies and things though, there's no harm in it and it makes their childhood more magical. They can learn the harsh realities of life when they're older.
That is not really "psychology", and I think some schools do have assemblies and other reminders about "inappropriate touch". as far as religious indoctrination I don't see that one going away anytime soon. But those who don't belong in religion figure it out as they grow up. The only thing I knew about god back then was that he could hear anything you say when your hands ere pressed together, kind of like a walkie talkie to heaven (my parents weren't religious but all my neighbors were). And perhaps that he could see me while I picked my nose.
Well some parents really cram their religion down their kids throats and brainwash them into wasting time and witholding enjoyment in life. I don't have a great solution, but to me it is a problem because it prevents the child from having an open mind. I was told masterbating was evil and had to go to church for a total of 8 hours a week all through high school because of this stupid shit. The sexual tension in my horny young soul was really fucking me up until I just said fuck it.
I was told the same by non religious folks tbh. It’s more of a societal thing and it’s changing these days, everyone is way more open about it than I remember years ago. It’s kind of annoying
Yeah its definently improving, but it could still be better. I just don't see how to fix it in america where we have freedom of religion.

Not really. Teachers can't try to push their religious beliefs on students. A middle school teacher of mine had a habit if doing so and a few years later he was out. But outside of school hours you can have bible studies and shit but it has to be student led I'm pretty sure.
I think students should learn it in school until they're last year, then have to choose to have it be a mandatory qualification upon graduating high school.

A shrink comes up with labels and excusses.
Medications and not mentally fit to stand trial.
Shrinks will say a grown man, who graduated from a university then buys several guns, 10,000 rounds of ammunition.
Converts One of his guns to shoot fully auto.
Then uses it to kill 50 random people.
Is innocent and cant be tryed.
These shrinks provide excusses. Not solutions.
In exchange for large paychecks.
That said, theyre pretty gullible.
Once you know the trigger points you can make a shrink believe most anything.

There is separation of church and state. You can't control what happens in the home.
The simpler stuff that kids could understand. Oh just stuff like -
How the mind creates images of things it doesn't understand (like seeing a monster in the dark, but it turns out to be a pile of laundry)
How when you get what you want, you tend to get bored quick and just seek out another "want".
How propaganda tricks and/or scares people.
Basically the parts that will get them through everyday life from now until they are being put in the ground.
They would not need to be bored/burdened with the details about sociopaths or other whack jobs. Just the parts that affects everyone everyday.
