I am 21 years old and have never seen the ocean. It hasn't really been my choice, if I had people to go on vacation with, I definitely would love to go see the ocean. Has anyone else never seen the ocean?
Totally not normal...u must see it! And who cares if u have no one to go with! Go by urself, it's a beautiful place to relax and reflect...have a dog? Bring ur dog! Fuck company =P!
WOW!!! i love the ocean, I've been like right next to it my entire life. I can't imagine never seeing it, the ocean is like the most amazing thing on the fucking planet
I live 2 minutes from it! Here in maine there are oceans and beaches. Every where
I've never seen an ocean either and realistically never will. I don't get how this was voted not normal though.

I lived in the midwest for a couple years and met lots of people who never saw the ocean. I am 90 minutes from it now but sometimes I can smell it. I love the sound of waves crashing against the rocks and rolling down the beach.
I live on the east coast of Australia (Sydney) with a two minute walk to the golden beach, ocean (pacific). But I only went to the beach once this summer aha.. I hate the beach.
I'd say it's not abnormal but still something you should experience. I live about.. oh 2 blocks away from the Atlantic and got to fly over the Pacific and spent some time on an island once. If you're going to pick one I would definitley go for Pacific. Being so close to the Atlantic all my life and an east coast girl I never knew water could be so clear and blue, rather breathtaking.
I live, like 5 seconds from the ocean, and I'm pretty scared of global warming!
I love the beach! I'm only like an hour from the ocean too, but I'm hardly ever by there :(
You definitely have to put "seeing the ocean" on your to-do list. The beach is absolutely magical to me.
Too bad that some of the beaches here in so cal get all littered and yucky :(
Aww, that sucks. It would take me about 30 seconds to drive to the beach. When its real quiet at night sometimes we can hear the waves crash. U could just come here! Everyone and their mother flocks here in the summer. It blows. So come off season. Its not as pretty as other places, but it'll do.
i've never seen the ocean either. i live in michigan and my wildest adventures were to ohio and ontario. woo.
Yes. I only live 45 minutes away from the Pacific Ocean. It's beautiful. I used to go there and reflect on life. Sometimes I would rent a horse and walk on the beach. It was my time. It's been a few years since I have been there. Thanks for this post! I'm gonna go again soon.
