I want a relationship with a guy. is it normal i attract other women?
I'm a girl. There are two women in my life at the moment whom I think would like to be more than just my friend... you know, over-eager smiles, very tactile, nervous giggling, verbal diarrhoea, following me around, completely floored by any mention of 'gay' or 'queer' or any anecdotes I tell about awkward situations with past crushes. They're both over 35 years old. One of these two women, I have a super inappropriate crush on; the other is actually a very good friend whom I really don't want to lose to the awkwardness of it all. She's of a generation and culture in which people just don't talk about same-sex attraction.
Then on the subway, at the mall, out and about, every so often I get 'the look' from girls I see. Our eyes meet with this look of curiosity, then there's a second look, and then maybe a third, with a smile. It's more intense than the usual way of accidentally catching someone's eye on the subway. I hadn't noticed it happening until about five years ago. And it's happening less and less with guys. For the record, I'm single and I like girls and guys, and I only want relationships with guys.
But seriously, what is this? This never used to happen. Am I just a "ladies' woman"? Is there a 'type' of woman that women are more likely to like, and am I it, or something? Do certain women just emit 'gaydar' waves?
Confused :/
