I don't want an awesome zombie apocalypse, and I don't want to try and survive it. I just actually want the whole world and everyone on it to be destroyed. I'm sick of this world and I'm sick of life.
Is this normal?
7 billion dead is a statistic, but 3 people dead is a tragedy... If I said I wished a store would burn down, killing everyone in it, I would be rightfully shamed and people would be mad at me. But someone can say they want the entire human race to die and it's fine? Wierd.
How can people possibly vote that this is normal? ofcourse its not fucking normal. and deepdown, you Don't want the world to end.
I keep forgetting most people on this website have issues....

he's not blaming others on his own life, he's just saying he hates how bad most of the people in this world are, and doesn't want to have to live in such a world, which i can completely understand. If you believe in the Bible, it's similar to the reason God himself flooded the earth, justifying killing almost everyone.

Yes ignore it and live life. Pay attention to the people that actually care about you and that are respectful to you. Move on... He is blaming others for his own depression here. He said he wants everyone to die so...

I'm hoping it's true, as well. I highly doubt it is (Y2K, Rapture, etc etc), but I just want everyone, myself included, gone.

Oh stfu. Would it be excited to be torn apart, limb from limb, knowing lives will be shattered? Or what if you survive, and everyone you knew, family, friends were DEAD? What I'm saying is, people's lives are getting torn apart every day, and everyone in my family is going to die someday anyway. So a global-scale Armageddon would just do exactly that, just sooner, and bigger.

it's quite normal. I was thinking of it many times. but now I won't think of it because I built a family 3 weeks ago and I Love my wife and daughter.
If we were all dead, somehow i don't think anyone would know the difference. But i think the only reason it would be normal for someone to want the world to end is if they were incredibly depressed, or bored with no life and so have nothing more important to think about.
i can see where you are coming from. I've pretty much lost all my faith in humanity, and i despise what they've become. i hate how this world is, how people act and treat each other so badly. how much greed and corruption there is in businesses and government.
but i firmly believe that once weed is legalized everywhere, this will change, and with 2 US states starting the quest, i have hope, and wish death on nobody.
I'd say it's normal. If anything, I'm sort of excited for it. I'm going to be so disappointed if nothing happens on the 21st.
The world won't end on the 21st anyway because the Mayan calendar didn't include leap years. So doomsday was supposed to happen several months ago... (BS if you ask me. No one knows when the world will end, except God.)
On the subject of the Mayan Calendar, another Calendar was discovered earlier this year and it predicted that the world would end many years into the future. I did read somewhere today that these "dates" have occurred before and to the Mayans they were considered to be a good thing.
Do you? No offense, but the knowing of it doesn't necessitate the understanding of it.
In other words, you can know the surface of the sun is hot but without ever traveling there you can't truly understand the heat that star possesses.
So without having seen the end of the world (which you can't) it's impossible to say you desire it.

Sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. I think all i really want is a new beginning and if that means having to live off the land for a few decades, so be it because dammit i HATE that damned cloned meat they sell at Walmart!
Well, it's a pretty darn good thing that any one person doesn't have the power to end all life. I for one quite enjoy living.
That being said, I sort of would be happy with the awesome zombie apocalypse (and trying to survive it) scenario. It'd be nice to put my parkour and fencing skills to real use.
But if the world ends, I won't be able to play Skyrim: Dragonborn for the PC. :(
On a different note, although it's fun to think about living in a apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic world, it would honestly suck in reality. I also do not hate humanity, we have too much to learn and explore still.
All of us going out at once would be pretty cool i guess.

You sound depressed. Don't be like all the jerks that kill other people just because they want to kill themselves! Figure out why you are depressed and make changes. Unfortunately, nobody can really do it for you.
I'm not all that depressed, and I would never kill other people. I just thought it would have been cool to witness the inevitable end of everything we know.
I think you are thinking it would be like a movie. I think the reality would cause fear to set in and it would not be fascinating after all. However, I once had a dream where I was swimming in the deep ocean I have never been scuba diving or snorkeling, although my twin sister has. But I looked down in the water and saw a great white racing straight up for me, jaws gaping. I knew I was about to die (not realizing it was a dream), but I thought it was cool to get to see a great white that close before I died. I wasn't scared because I figured it would be quick.

No, I've actually been stressing out this whole week despite knowing that the myths have been debunked by NASA no less! Some people aren't ready to die and want to keep on living as long as they possibly can. I would hate to think that all that humanity has achieved will get smashed into smatterings! I don't want that! I'm not trying to sound selfish by I want to get a chance to properly experience what life has to offer. On another note, I wonder how many people will kill themselves over this. They say that Christmas and New Years are the most "popular" times of the year that people commit suicide so, I can't help but to be curious.
I don't mind vanishing from earth right now but I wouldn't drag other people into it you selfish bass
